Winds and Leaf is an iconographic picture of my work in this year 2019.

The creature behind the (๑ ˃ᆺ˂ ) is 風の神 (かぜのかみ) Kaze no Kami, whoever brings colds to you. It come from 絵本百物語 (Ehon Hyaku Monogatari, "Picture Book of a Hundred Stories").

I remember having interrupted another project to start this one which came to me like a flash. The idea of Io on a leaf carried by the wind, with a tree and its leaves standing out. Then I wanted to make a kind of cloudy landscape pushed by the breath of a Japanese god, so I opened this book, Ehon Hyaku Monogatari, and found what I needed to complete the project.

It was not easy. If you compare with my previous pixel arts, this is the first one that achieves this complexity. Because I really work by pixel, with the mouse, and in the final dimension.
