Ae 1st Pixel Design

This character has been written with his story since 2007. My first attempt to conceive it (hand drawing) was a girl with a pretty brown skin. After the MySpace era, I worked on many other projects, played in a trivial punk music band, painted some covers for a few of artists around, learned zbrush, modeled/selled some papercrafts and started my autonomous life.

After delving into my old novels, the AE / NL project was definitely a project to be carried out. So in July 2015, this character became a light red girl, then a real red girl (MC1R protein). The brown version became the basis for the character "Io" and the "red girl" slept in my archives until 2018, when I decided to become a pixel artist.

And this is the first face I tried to draw in pixels at this level of detail, before really understanding what pixel art itself is.
This is my real first step into the pixel world, as pixel artist (since I'm programmer, I knew already what is really the pixel art, but not at the artist's side). I've conclude that the pixel art is... hard.
